1 - Mark and Lacey Stockeland

For 10 years (of their 15-year marriage), Mark and Lacey Stockeland have called Haiti their home. Making Jesus-loving disciples is their passion. The fruit from their labor is abundant. It was a privilege to spend time with them, not only because they are gracious hosts, but because they present an opportunity to walk in the steps of someone who truly understands Jesus' instruction to go into all the world and MAKE DISCIPLES (Matthew 28:19-20). Disciples of Christ do not randomly happen along the way. It is an intentional work, a willful laying aside of one's self for the sake of others; a concept not popular today in our often entitled and big-numbers-based society. Mark and Lacey, we will not forget our time with you. You taught us well, and we count it an honor to walk along the way together.
