The coastal town of Jeremie is located on the northwest tip of Haiti's southern peninsula on the Gulf of Gonave. Population is thought to be just under 100,000. Jeremie is known for its abundance of coffee, cacao, sugarcane and mangoes.
A highlight of our recent trip was the unexpected and thunderous dropping of mangoes on the metal roof!
At times it seemed to rain ripe mangos!
